Education is everywhere.
Lil'Petite Homeschool Co-Op was developed in 2015 by a small group of families that would meet on a weekly basis for field trips and playtime at founder Patricia Ferman's home. With God’s Blessing of these families and hard work, the group formed a leadership board, and the name “Lil'Petite homeschool Co-Op” was given. Thus, began the group known today as LPHSC.
Lil' Petite Homeschool Co-Op is currently on its 4th year of Co-Op and after outgrowing the initial meeting site, moved to Moisac Church El Paso and now starting its fourth year at a New Host Home " Centro Vida Church in El Paso, Texas. LPHSC aims to provide all types of homeschoolers with social and educational opportunities including field trips, academic classes, and outside educational resources offered by homeschool-friendly El Paso County agencies as well as agencies and organizations from surrounding cities.
Our Co-Op is made up of diverse families of different backgrounds, some with young children who are just starting their homeschooling journey to families with young adults who are close to finishing their last chapter of pre-college education. We also support different types of homeschooling including traditional families who use curriculum-at-home as well as families that supplement some of their learning outside of the home with Classical Conversations and neighboring homeschool co-ops, we strive to support every type of homeschooler in our area!
LPHSC is also proud to offer a downloadable yearbook during the upcoming 2018 - 2019 session. It will be a fantastic memento of Co-Op year , produced by Ceci Mitre of Ceci Mitre Photography and ONE36 CREATIVE MEDIA.
